From the messy realities of perinatal mental health to the nuanced (and often taboo) conversations around reproductive care, we’re here to equip therapists like you with the tools and confidence to meet your clients where they are—no sugarcoating required.
We’re not afraid to lean into the hard conversations—about loss, identity, rage, fear, joy, and everything in between—because we know that’s where healing happens. And we know you’re here because you believe that, too.
You’re past the basics of perinatal mental health—the hormones, the “baby blues,” the standard screening tools. You’ve got the fundamentals down. Now, you’re searching for deeper, more complex conversations. The ones about working with foster and adoptive parents navigating attachment wounds, or disabled birthers facing a system that was never built with them in mind.
Textbook definitions of postpartum anxiety just aren’t cutting it. You’re ready to move beyond surface-level understanding and into the nuanced, real-world challenges your clients face. The ones about how parenting medically complex children impacts mental health, or the benefits (and, let’s face it, challenges) of teletherapy for the perinatal population.
The support you need is about more than theory (though we include that too). It’s about understanding the lived experiences of your clients and having the tools to truly help.
CEU course available in video or podcast format (because we know you’re busy and multitasking is a lifestyle).
Real-world applications so you’re not just memorizing, you’re integrating.
Because your biases, emotions, and lived experiences matter in this work.
The latest findings in perinatal mental health without scouring the databases.
Bridging your current practice with therapy modalities you haven’t thought about since grad school.
You’re deep into your work as a perinatal therapist, juggling complex cases, and craving resources that speak to the SPECIFIC needs of your clients. That’s why at Kansas Reproductive Therapy Center, we’ve created downloadable tools to streamline your practice. No more spending countless hours sifting through progress note examples from grad school or researching group therapy curriculum—everything you need to support your practice’s growth is right here.
Evidence-based, stigma-smashing, and rooted in real-world use. Our trainings go beyond surface-level strategies to tackle the complexities of reproductive mental health care head-on.
Designed to hold space for the raw, the real, and the unspoken. These plug-and-play resources help you guide your clients through the topics they might not even dare to name (but you know they need to).
Created for therapists who know that a polished, professional foundation is the key to supporting clients through their toughest chapters — while making your paperwork less of a headache.
We know this work requires more than just clinical skill—it requires courage to confront stigmas, hold space for pain, and navigate the taboo. And that’s exactly what we’re here to support.

Therapeutic Insights for Working With Foster and Adoptive Parents
“This course honestly blew me away. As a perinatal therapist, I thought I had a solid understanding of adoption and foster care, but this training opened my eyes to so many overlooked dynamics. The way it wove together trauma, systemic issues, identity, and real-life clinical tools was both inspiring. I’ve already used some of the tools with clients! Riley’s teaching style made complex stuff feel really approachable.”
— Megan T., LMFT, PMH-C
Confronting Ableism in Reproductive Mental Health Providers
“Such an eye-opening course. I walked away with language and awareness I didn’t know I was missing. I didn’t really know what all ableism involved.”
— Amanda W., LMHC
Teletherapy and the Perinatal Population - Podcast CEU
“Helpful and easy to listen to. Perfect for busy days and gave me real takeaways for teletherapy with pregnant and postpartum clients.”
— Alex K., PsyD
Confronting Ableism in Reproductive Mental Health Providers
“I’ve taken a lot of CEUs, but this one hit different. It gave me both insight and action steps I could use right away.”
— Natasha N., LMFT
Post-Abortion Support Group Therapy Curriculum
“This is the resource I wish I had years ago. It treats abortion care as mental health care and helps clients feel seen, not pathologized.”
— Keisha R., LCSW, PMH-C
SOAP Note Templates for Ethical Perinatal Documentation
“This is the first time I’ve seen notes that make space for things like birth trauma, ambivalence, and attachment. So validating.”
— Amanda W., LMHC

I didn’t start Kansas Reproductive Therapy Center because I had extra time on my hands (four kids, three businesses, and a house full of coffee cups say otherwise). I started it to find answers.
Answers for the client sitting across from me in tears, struggling with guilt after admitting she’s not bonded to her adopted child. The couple suddenly parenting a medically complex child and resenting one another for it. The client grappling with an unexpected pregnancy after loss, wondering how to support his partner when he feels such dread. And realizing, over and over again, that there weren’t any courses that addressed these nuances of perinatal mental health care.
Because let’s be real—no training ever prepared me for the cold looks I got when disciplining my child in a wheelchair. Or when to start seeing clients again after my miscarriage. Or how to navigate a therapy session when my client’s toddler was screaming in the background. Or what to say to a foster parent who just had a placement abruptly removed and was grieving a child they were never technically supposed to get attached to. And if I couldn’t find the education I needed as a therapist (and as a parent), I knew damn well others were struggling too.
