We’re not here to tiptoe around how to treat birth trauma with CBT or offer one-size-fits-all solutions for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

Instead, we head straight for intersectionality within reproductive mental health—allowing you to show up for your clients in a way that’s both effective and authentic.

OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE:

to equip perinatal mental health professionals with real-world, research-backed training that makes a difference in their clinical work, addressing the diverse, intersectional experiences of the individuals and families they serve.

We designed on-demand CEUs for therapists who want to go beyond the basics. We provide a nuanced, trauma-responsive education that blends theory, research, and clinical case examples—so you can approach anything that walks through your door with confidence. The taboos, the gray areas, the moments in session when you think, I wish someone had taught me how to handle this.

And because we know your time is valuable, we’ve made our trainings flexible and accessible, allowing you to deepen your expertise without the pressure of rigid timelines.

TO PRIORITIZE HOW YOU LEARN BEST, CHOOSE BETWEEN:

FIND A TRAINING

We believe every therapist should feel prepared to navigate complex, sensitive topics with an understanding of how factors like race, gender identity, sexuality, socioeconomic status, and disability shape the perinatal experience. Our goal is to empower you with the tools you NEED to provide meaningful, evidence-based care—so you can show up for your clients in the moments that matter most.

You’re not just a therapist checking a CEU requirement. You’re someone who cares deeply about the people you serve, who wants to have real conversations that lead to real healing. And if no one else is teaching you how to navigate these messy, complicated, deeply human experiences? Don’t worry—we will.

At KRTC, we’re passionate about breaking the silence around reproductive mental health and ensuring that care is inclusive, culturally competent, and grounded in the realities of diverse identities and experiences.

Here we create trainings that revolutionize perinatal care—from reproductive loss and infertility to postpartum mood disorders and adoption depression.

Theory-Rooted

Our courses are:

Here we start with theory and build from there—because knowing the "why" makes the "how" that much more powerful (and fun).

Self-Reflective

This is a judgment-free space that welcomes exploration of your hidden biases—because we take our selves in the therapy room, too.

Clinically-Driven

Reading this sh*t on paper can only do so much. That’s why we bring it to life with case vignettes.

Research-Backed

This isn’t about trendy theories; it’s about evidence-based, reliable information you can count on. We’re obsessed with keeping our content up-to-date so you can trust that you’re always learning what’s most effective for your clients.

Trauma-Responsive

We know perinatal mental health is intertwined with trauma. We’re determined to be more than just informed—we’re proactive and intentional.

Social Justice-Oriented

One thing about us? We don’t believe you can be politically neutral if you’re a reproductive therapist—our clients depend on our advocacy.

And we’re committed to these pillars.

The 5% Policy

At Kansas Reproductive Therapy Center, our values aren’t just fluff for our courses—they’re a standard we set our company on. That’s why 5% of our proceeds go directly to regional and local reproductive mental health organizations. It’s our way of making sure our mission to support overlooked populations goes much further than the clinicians we serve. Because every population deserves quality care during their most vulnerable time: the perinatal period.

At KRTC, we believe:

Reproductive mental health is complex.

And we refuse to simplify it. Our clients’ experiences are layered, and we believe your education should reflect that. The perinatal journey isn’t a one-size-fits-all experience, and neither is our approach to training. We tackle the complexity and nuance of reproductive mental health—giving you a deep dive into the topics that matter most.

Outdated narratives need to go.

Reproductive care has a long history of stigma, and we’re here to dismantle it. Each course we offer is designed to eliminate harmful stereotypes and build a foundation of acceptance, inclusivity, and progress. When you take our courses, you’re diving into an environment that prioritizes your own growth and the well-being of your clients.

Therapists need real, raw, and research-backed training.

We take you deep into therapy modalities, self-of-the-therapist work, and case vignettes—so you walk away with knowledge you can actually use in your sessions. It’s all about practical tools and research-backed strategies that will help you show up better for your clients.

Learning never stops.

Just like we expect you to grow and evolve as a therapist, we’re committed to doing the same. We’re constantly collaborating, staying up to date with new research, and remaining open to new perspectives. Our commitment to growth isn’t just for us—it’s for the therapists we train and the clients they serve.

After running into unanswered questions (time and time again), licensed marriage and family therapist Riley Blanton bought the domain for Kansas Reproductive Therapy and got to work designing PowerPoint slides—ready to create answers to her own questions.

Questions like: What do you say to a pregnant person who’s deciding whether to stay with a partner who cheated? How do you support a therapist-client struggling with their own reproductive trauma while still showing up for their caseload? What happens when perinatal depression doesn’t look like “textbook” depression because their child is disabled?

It all started when our founder noticed gaps in parental mental health education.

And now, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Riley sat with clients daily, in her mid-century modern office or through the comfort of telehealth, but aesthetics and convenience didn’t train her for the nuance that comes from the spectrum of reproductive experiences.

There was no training on how to support a mother feeling resentment toward the baby she fought so hard to adopt. No CEU covered how to help when a foster parent needed to advocate for themselves without risking their license. And no course ever prepared Riley for the personal weight of this work—when to take a step back after her own miscarriage, how to set boundaries when her lived experience mirrored her client’s pain, or how to show up fully without losing herself in the process.

Because therapists deserve education that meets them where they are—research-backed, clinically relevant, and unafraid to go deep into the nuances that textbooks or grad school doesn’t cover. You’re here because you’re ready to tackle the raw, complicated intersections of reproductive mental health.

So, how’d we get here?

Therapeutic Insights for Working With Foster and Adoptive Parents

“This course honestly blew me away. As a perinatal therapist, I thought I had a solid understanding of adoption and foster care, but this training opened my eyes to so many overlooked dynamics. The way it wove together trauma, systemic issues, identity, and real-life clinical tools was both inspiring. I’ve already used some of the tools with clients! Riley’s teaching style made complex stuff feel really approachable.”
